Butterfly gift cards
These quick and easy gift cards were designed by Bronwyn Eastley, a designer for one of my favourite websites, Just-Add-Ink. Bronwyn has step by step instructions on her own website to make these lovely gift cards. So check it out:
I added bodies and antennae to the butterfly cards that I made with some simple punching as shown in the second photo below

Butterfly place names
These easel gift cards also make wonderful place names. I did these using watercolour paper and splodges of ink. If done in different colours, I think they would make fantastic place names at a wedding too. Do you agree?

The place names use the two complete butterflies from the 'beautiful butterflies' bigz die. The antennae is from the two step bird punch and the body is from the modern label punch. The name is printed on the computer and then punched out with the word window punch.
The butterfly on the straw (see photo below) is from the same die, but has been put through the embossing folder and had a bit of glitter added also. The cupcake topper is the largest butterfly from the 'beautiful wings' embosslit die.

Butterfly present
Finally, using a selection of the butterflies mentioned above, I decorated a wrapped gift. I used plain white wrapping paper which I stamped in sahara sand ink to match the colour of the gift card.

I hope you are as inspired as I was, when I first saw these cute butterfly cards.
From Rhonda

What a great idea to have the butterfly through the straw. All your projects turned out beautifully. I love that die!
