How to make the Tucan
You will need 3 x word windows for the tail (Basic Black)
1 x Xtra large oval for the body (Basic Black)
1 x 1 1/4" circle for the head (Basic Black) - cut a small piece off one side
1 x scallop oval for the wing (Basic Black) - cut in half diagonally
1 x large oval for the chest (So Saffron) - I orginally used the smaller Stampin' up! oval punch for this but it has been retired now. Cut in half diagonally
2 x large oval for the beak. (Certainly Celery) - Re punch to get the curves needed to make the upper and lower beaks. The lower beak is the same as the upper but just turned over so the narrow edge is showing rather than the wider edge. On the upper beak, use the negative left over card from where the chest piece was punched out of as a mask to mask off a small oval piece where you can sponge on some real red colour. Use picture below as a guide.
Finally the eye is 1 x itty bitty circle punch with a large crop-o-dile hole punch for the centre.
